Kairos (from the Greek “the right time”) is a powerful sanitation system with IoT (Internet of Things) technology that allows you to diffuse fragrances and sanitize air and surfaces of any environment in an extremely accurate and fully automated way. Contemporary living and working spaces are increasingly contaminated and multifunctional. In the same space very different people and jobs coexist depending on the moment of the day. Kairos allows you to mark these moments by creating the right atmosphere and ensuring safety. Kairos is created with the intention of bringing health and harmony to modern environments, allowing the automatic programming of diversified scented atmospheres according to every activities. During the day it's possible to program and switch between disinfection and aromatherapy essence diffusion. All the essences have biological origin to perfume in a natural way to bring nature into artificial environments. You can easily move Kairos wherever you want, its minimal design allows it to integrate harmoniously into any environment. Kairos comes with a rounded and blunt body, communicates reliability and simplicity. We have chosen to remove all complexity from the physical object, to give Kairos a simple and friendly aspect. The control and the various settings reachable from the App, making it possible to program Kairos even remotely. Kairos has four piezoelectric dispensers that allow the diffusion of different types of substances. The user can choose whether to sanitize, perfume with different essences or alternate both functions. Kairos has been designed in two dimensions, one more compact and light, suitable for domestic environments, offices and small spaces and a larger one suitable for very large and complex spaces. Kairos allow the synchronization of potential infinite number of devices thanks to the High-Gain antenna for Wi-Fi reception at large distance. It is possible to use several appliances at the same time to synchronize sanitation and perfuming. The studies carried out have shown its effectiveness even in large and complex environments. Kairos technology is capable of certifying the effective sanitation of spaces and guarantee the transparency and compliance of shared data through the use of blockchain technology and the related PDT (Performance Digital Traceability). A lot of attention was paid to environmental sustainability in all phases of the project, It is a sturdy object designed to last a long time. Kairos is made with recycled plastics and environmentally friendly shipping packaging. The research also led to the development of a zero-waste recharging system. The complete system automation optimizes the quantity of diffused perfume and sanitizer by reducing consumption, avoiding waste thus making the process more sustainable.
